About us
Video is how people show their work. The web still treats it as a rectangle.
Storiefied is a site builder for people whose work moves. You upload a clip, we turn it into frames, and the page plays it as the visitor scrolls — so the story unfolds at their pace, not a player's.
Where this came from
The tools for putting video on the web split into two camps. One gives you a player: fast to embed, impossible to art-direct, and it asks the visitor to commit before they know what they are watching. The other gives you an agency invoice.
Neither serves the person in the middle — a creator with a body of work, a studio with a launch, a brand with something filmed and nowhere considered to put it. That gap is the whole reason this exists.
What we believe
Motion is the content
A clip embedded in a page is a thing you press play on. A clip you scroll through is a thing you read. The second one holds attention, and it is the one the web has never made easy to build.
Taste is not a template
Design styles apply per page and set an era, not a colour swap. A site should look like a decision someone made, not like the tool that produced it.
Published means published
Every publish writes a version you can go back to, and going back restores your draft rather than pushing an old site live. Two deliberate steps, because losing work to one click is not a feature.
Who it is for
- Creators and influencers who need a home for their work that is not someone else's feed.
- Studios and production companies presenting a reel as a site rather than a link.
- Brands running a launch, where the film is the campaign and the page has to carry it.
- Agencies building all of the above for clients, on their own domains.
How it works
Upload a video or a GIF and we extract its frames into a zoetrope — named for the pre-cinema device that made motion out of sequential images, which is literally what it holds. Drop a cinescroll block onto a page, point it at that zoetrope, and the frames advance with the scroll.
Around it sits an ordinary site builder: pages, a shared header and footer, a hundred blocks, a theme that cascades from the project down to a single section, and your own domain on the front of it.
